Almond milk is so easy to make and so delicious! I started making it a few years ago and have never looked back. Although I did cut out almonds in my low histamine diet for a bit of time, it was also one of the first things I added back after an elimination diet.

Easy To Make Homemade Almond Milk

- 1 cup Almonds
- Filtered water + 2 cups water
- 1 tsp vanilla (optional)
- Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions
Place the almonds in a large bowl and add water so that it covers the almonds entirely
Cover with a clean cloth and let sit for 8-12 hours
Drain the almonds and rinse well
Add the almonds, 2 cups of water, vanilla and salt to a food processor and blend well
With clean hands, dump the blended almonds into a nut bag and squeeze the liquid into a clean bowl
